Sing along with the Butlins Boys

One of the highlights of Remembering the Past’s working summer was meeting the virtual audience members who joined us for our ‘Butlin’s to the Balearics’ online presentation. We were so pleased to ‘virtually’ meet a former Butlin’s Redcoat who shared her memories with everyone. It was a great session.
Today, on a cloudy November day, I was rummaging in our ‘pending’ file and found this photo. It’s of a (sadly unnamed) group who played for Butlin’s audiences. I can imagine the music they’d be playing based on their hairstyles, jackets and ties and musical instruments.
