Volunteering
Remembering the Past’s work depends on volunteers collecting, archiving and sharing the untold stories about local life that exist in people’s memories. We need more:
Memory Collectors
The face-to-face role: meeting people and encouraging them to share their memories to be added to our collection.
Memory Finders
The research role, working with material loaned, donated or rescued to find the untold stories.
Memory Keepers
The technical side of our work, joining the team that make sure that the material being collected is uploaded to the website.
Memory Sharers
The public face of our work, sharing the wonderful stories with the public.
