Directing a member of the public to the new police station, January 1976

January 1976 saw the closure of the Saville Street Police Station and the move to the new building in Upper Pearson Street.  The Tynemouth Force by this time had become part of Northumbria Police.

In this picture Sergeant 813 of Northumbria Police (formerly Sergeant 104 of the Tynemouth Police) directs a member of the public to the new station.
