Going to the Cinema

Why doesn’t someone find his mother?

I remember going to the cinema in 1941 to see Bambi with my mother and brother.  When it came to the part where Bambi is calling for his mother (who had been shot), I shouted out, ‘Why doesn’t someone find his mother?’  The usherette appeared and shone her torch on us and told my mother she would have to take me out.  I was only 4 years old and my brother was 7.  He wasn’t happy at all as we all trooped out.
