During election campaigning we targeted people according to their political affiliation.
When we were at school we used to ‘fight’ with the pupils from schools of other denominations. We used to roll up balls of newspaper, tie them to a length of string and then throw them at our ‘opponents’. We were especially jealous of them when they were allowed to miss school for a Holy Day.
We used the same practice during election campaigning when we targeted people according to their political affiliation.
