After the War

Kitty Brightwell recalls returning to Civvy Street and finding work.

 

Kitty Brightwell was born in Newcastle in 1922. During the Second World War, Kitty served for 4 years in the Battle of Britain Operations Room at Uxbridge, Middlesex. In this recording, Kitty recalls returning to the North East at the end of the war and starting work as a civilian.
