Girl Guides

I’m still friendly with some of them now.

I was a member of 1st Whitley Bay (St Pauls) Girl Guides, Whitley Bay and used to attend the Cenotaph Parade every year, as well as Church Parade every month and on Armistice Day.  We had awful hats to wear which we hated.  I was also a member of the Young People’s Fellowship at the Church – I’m still friendly with some of them now.
